Sofia Sofianou
Sofia Sofianou is an architect (University of Patras 2018) and currently a postgraduate student in Harvard Graduate School of Design, Master in Architecture II (post professional degree).
She has worked in several architectural offices in Athens and in Copenhagen at Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) participating in international competitions and works in Greece, Danmark, Berlin, Shanghai and USA.
She participated in workshops around Greece and Europe (Villard_16, AA_Visiting School, CityLab_Patras). In collaboration with Tina Marinaki, their project Sweet Escape for the international competition COOK8 (DOMES) was honored with distinction. She participated in the exhibition of the Greek Pavilion of the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale at #ThisIsACo-op (2016).
In an academic context, her research interest focuses on the multiscalar operation of urban infrastructure by conducting studies between cities, through different digital techniques.
Tina Marinaki
Tina Marinaki is an architect (University of Patras 2018) and is currently a postgraduate student in MSc. in Advanced Architectural Design, Columbia University.
She is the lead editor of Archisearch.gr and Archisearch The Paper Edition.
She has been working as an architect in several architectural offices in Athens and she has participated in various international architectural competitions with distinctions [mention in COOK8 with Sofia Sofianou], workshops [Rethink the Night, Villard_16] and exhibitions [Caumme III/ PAUMME I DiARC, #ThisIsACo-op La Biennale di Venezia 2016].
